Sendai City Presents BOSAI-TECH at UN High-Level Meeting on Midterm Review of the Sendai Framework in New York

From May 19 to 20, 2023, a United Nations High-Level Meeting on the Midterm Review of the Implementation of the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015–2030 was held at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Mayor Kori of Sendai City took the stage as a panelist and delivered a presentation on themes such as what local governments can do to reduce disasters at the regional level.
She spoke about Sendai City's recovery efforts, its disaster-resilient city and community development as a disaster prevention environmental city, its BOSAI-TECH initiatives, and the city's efforts regarding the mid-term evaluation of the implementation status of the Sendai Framework.
