Sendai City Showcases BOSAI-TECH at International DRR Leaders Incheon Forum 2023 in South Korea

The International Disaster Resilience Leaders Incheon Forum 2023 was held in Incheon, South Korea, from September 18 to 19, 2024, co-hosted by the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction (UNDRR), the Ministry of the Interior and Safety of South Korea, and Incheon City.
Under the theme “Utilizing Technology and Realizing Partnerships for Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction,” this forum aimed to bring together national and regional leaders from around the world. It focused on the regional-level application of technology and comprehensive partnerships for climate change and disaster risk reduction, providing a platform to share practical experiences in building disaster-resilient communities.
Our city was invited to give a keynote presentation. We participated on-site and shared our city's BOSAI-TECH initiatives. The presentation garnered significant interest from local government leaders and businesses worldwide regarding disaster prevention efforts utilizing technology through industry-academia-government collaboration.
