Sendai City Bosai-tech innovation program
The program is aiming to create innovation ecosystem in the Disaster prevention industry.
We welcome all companies that are interested in the “Disaster prevention ×IT” theme to participate the program and connect them for business development.
We support all participants establishing new business by providing learning programs “All about disaster prevention and relief” and “New business creation”.

Sendai’s work on Bosai
Since March 2015,Sendai City has been promoting social innovation in disaster relief and prevention-related industry following “Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030” as one of the SDGs. Sendai City is seeking for innovative solutions through the program and is supporting innovation in the disaster relief and prevention industry through the program.
In addition, Tohoku University, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, etc. are playing a leading role in creating international rules that guarantee disaster prevention equipment, products, and services as the "disaster prevention ISO," which is a new international standard. This program is linked with the Disaster Prevention ISO Committee, and there is a possibility of various collaborations through disaster prevention ISO for participating companies.
